Starting from "EVERYDAY GENIUS Creates Infinite Possibilities", MediaTek believes that technology can improve human life and effectively connect with the world, and everyone has the potential to use technology to create infinite possibilities (Everyday Genius).
The MediaTek "Smart Hometown" Digital Social Innovation Competition has entered its second edition. This year, it maintains the theme of "a specific township" and invites the general public, students, community organizations, the public sector and private enterprises to care about the hometown together. The ten teams that won last year have members ranging from middle school students to community mothers. It is not only their good ideas that are touching, but also because they care about the actions of their hometown.
Taking Taiwan's 368 townships and districts as the objects of concern, I hope that the innovative experience will be closer to local life. The power of science and technology should benefit everyone, even if it is a small township problem, if someone cares about it, there is the possibility of improvement. Starting from "do one thing for hometown", everyone can find a motivation to improve human life, benefit others and benefit themselves, and achieve Everyday Genius.
Entry theme
Select a Taiwanese township, city or district as the subject of the subject (can cross districts but must be specified), and use digital technology to improve the area’s life or environment. In order to get closer to the real context of the problem, local interviewees and feedback should be attached, such as local folks, local governments, local associations or groups, etc.

Eligibility
Adopting a team and an open form, each team is freely composed of more than 3 people (please fill in more than 3 people in the "number of members", the system will jump out of the group member information field), regardless of age, nationality, occupation, etc., the group leader must be Chinese Nationality of the Republic of China. Student teams, members of the public, non-profit organizations, local associations, and even companies can register as a team; if there are members under the age of 20 in the finalist team, a legal representative must sign the "Agreement to Participate under the Age of 20" "Book" and submit the original.
*If you participate in the competition in the name of a for-profit organization such as the company line number, you need to attach the "Company and Organization Participation Consent"
*In order to encourage the public to participate, if any of the top 20 teams in the primary selection is an employee of the organizer (including group companies), it will be regarded as the "Everyday Genius Demonstration Team", and the organizer will provide additional rewards for employees Measures, the team will not be included in the finalists list, and according to the score ranking to make up the finalists.
