This months Forum is a very special event as FutureWard has the honor of collaborating with Taiwan Tech Arena (TTA), an upcoming government program funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology and managed by ITRI and FutureWard. More information to follow.

This months speaker is Dr. H.Ping Wang. Dr. H.Ping Wang is an active entrepreneur and investor as well as advisor to various governmental and corporate organizations on advanced technology commercialization. He is also an EIR (Entrepreneur-In-Residence) at the Techstars IOT Accelerator, and was previously Director of the Qualcomm Robotics Accelerator, Powered By Techstars – a selective, investment driven, intensive 4 month coaching & mentorship program for robotics/AI startups. He cofounded several startup companies and brands in consumer electronics and created the first tech coworking space in San Diego, and has worked in business development and strategic roles in robotics, manufacturing, cleantech, and medtech, spanning Silicon Valley, Asia, Mexico. He is also an investor and advisor to dozens of startups companies and entrepreneurial organizations throughout the world. Dr. Wang received a mix of bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and Biology, all from Stanford University, and integrated these fields for his PhD in AI / Neuroscience, and is published in the journal “Science” for his scientific work and is a Stanford Technology Ventures Program “Mayfield Fellow” for entrepreneurial leadership.
