Department of Economic Development of Taipei City Government has held Taipei Prominent Enterprise Award since 2014, designed to recognize and encourage outstanding achievements in innovation investment of enterprises that Taipei city supported. Through the establishment of Prominent Enterprise Award, Taipei city hopes to assist enterprises in showing their innovation, competitiveness, market power, influence on the overall industry, economy and society, and impact on social responsibility.
Furthermore, to make the public understand the achievement and core value of the Project of Subsidies & Incentives for Taipei Industry, the award ceremony is arranged for award-winning companies to display innovative technology, services, and products entrepreneurial achievements.
