Ed Jager, Director of Trade and Investment Canadian Trade Office in Taipei, discussed how AI startup teams can expand into the global market through international accelerators. Peter Wu, President of TWS, shared insights on international collaboration for startups. Joseph Phua, Founder of Turn Capital, discussed international fundraising strategies and investment trends from an investor's perspective. Jowy Tani, CEO of TMU Biomedical Accelerator, shared insights on how generative AI empowers innovation in digital healthcare.Additionally, representatives from the venture capital and industry sectors, including Ian Huang from Good People Venture, Joc Cing Tay, Vice President of Gogolook Engineering, Cathy Hwang, Partner at Palm Drive Capital, and Clayton Jacobs, CEO of CreatorDB, engaged in discussions on innovative trends and market opportunities driven by AI technology.The goal was to facilitate knowledge exchange among participants in various fields, share technological expertise, and tap into talent resources, all aimed at further accelerating the international expansion of Taipei's startup teams.
