The countermeasures of legal response to the epidemic situation of new start-up companies and enterprises

/  Activities  /

The spread of the CONVID-19 epidemic worldwide has not only caused health hazards and panic, it has also hit the economy and disrupted the rhythm of social operations.

Many companies face sudden legal issues such as order cancellation, shipping shutdown, rent adjustment, and dismissal. How should they respond?
What are the relevant provisions of the current civil law regarding these changes caused by the epidemic situation? And is there any clause in the contract clauses that can be used as a basis for dealing with the epidemic crisis?

This time IWC Law Office is invited to analyze the companies affected by the epidemic from the civil law and the terms of the contract, and seek legal relief channels or solutions. It is supplemented by practical cases to share the recently affected companies, how to claim or defend their rights, from the legal and practical aspects, to understand the countermeasures of the start-up companies and enterprises under the epidemic situation, and welcome to sign up to participate.

In order to avoid the expansion of the severe special infectious pneumonia COVID-19 (Wuhan pneumonia) epidemic, participants are requested to cooperate with the following regulations:

(1). Patients with respiratory symptoms should seek medical treatment as soon as possible and then rest at home to avoid participating in assembly activities. Those who have a fever may not participate in the rally until at least 24 hours after the fever is withdrawn. If the rally does not meet this standard on the day of the rally, they should avoid participating.
(2). Maintain the cleanliness of the hands. Maintain the habit of frequent hand washing. In principle, you can use soap and water or alcohol-based dry cleaning hand lotion to clean your hands. Especially after coughing or sneezing and after going to the toilet, when hands come into contact with respiratory secretions, urine or feces and other body fluids, they should wash their hands immediately. Also pay attention to try not to directly touch the eyes, nose and mouth with your hands.

There is a frontal temperature gun and disinfectant alcohol at the entrance of the venue. Before entering the venue, body temperature measurement and hand disinfection will be performed. Those with fever symptoms (body temperature ≥ 38 ℃) will refuse to enter the venue. Visitors with respiratory symptoms must wear masks and use sterile alcohol to clean their hands, and keep a distance of 1 meter or more from others.
