The Privacy Policy and Consent to Collection of Personal Information

We hereby clarify and inform you of our collection, processing and use with respect to your personal information provided through this website pursuant to the Personal Information Protection Act of R.O.C., COMPUTEX’s (hereinafter as “COMPUTEX”) privacy policies. • Purpose of collection: For performing consulting service and administrative management

• Classification of the personal information collected:

  • a. For identifying the individual: Chinese and English name, occupation, tel. no., mobile phone no., email address, etc.
  • b. For verifying financial information: Number and name of financial institution account, credit card or debit card number, etc.
  • c. For identification in government documents: ID card no., passport no., etc.
  • d. Personal description: Age, sex, date of birth, etc.
  • e. Qualifications or skills: Degrees and qualifications, pecialized skills, special licenses, other training certifications, etc.
  • f. Special personal data: medical records, healthcare, genetics, sex life, physical examination and criminal records, etc.

• The time period, territory, recipients, and methods of which the personal information is used:

  • a. Time of use of personal information: For the entire duration needed to serve the underlying purposes.
  • b. Territory of use of personal information: Taiwan (within the R.O.C.) or places where handling and use has been approved by the party involved.
  • c. Recipients and methods of use of personal information: Information is to be used for necessary methods.

• If an applicant does not provide complete and correct information, StartUP@Taipei Office may not be able to provide with related services for specific purposes.
