In order to actively enhance the added value of Taiwan's semiconductor-related industries, Nankang IC Design Incubation Center (NKIC) was established in October, 2003 by the MOEA IDB under the National “Project Challenge 2008”. NKIC's main function is to incubate the development of key technologies and new innovative products created by IC design companies and related fields such as information and communication electronics SMEs.

Over the course of the last 10 years, NKIC has been awarded with numerous of technology project excellent performance awards from government officials and have incubated over 34 high-tech professional companies from around the world.

It's our goal to continue and promote the shift of the electronic industry in order to upgrade Taiwan's competitiveness on the global stage.
